Considering that this summer is the 250th birthday of the United States, we hope that everyone has a wonderful, “safe and sane” July 4th.

A new Calf of the Month is posted for July. This Spring 2026 calf is owned by a partnership dedicated to the production and promotion of Heritage Shorthorns. They have a number of quality bull calves which were born this year from a variety of Heritage sires and dams.
If it’s been a while since you’ve looked at the “Pictures from the Past” section on the HSS website, and you would like some smiles and chuckles, take a look. Page 3 has the newest postings, but Pages 1 & 2 still have some classic old farm ads and photos.
As noted in the June Newsletter because of nationwide inflation HSS fees will increase by a small amount starting July 1, 2026. Attached is the new price list.
