Breeders Listing

A  free listing of breeders of Heritage Shorthorns and Heritage-Influenced Shorthorn cattle, is available for members on the Heritage Breeders Page.  A logo can be added to this listing for a one-time fee of $25 (we’re happy to help you create a logo).

 

onLine Classified Ads

To place any type of ad on the HSS website, the information to be included in the ad will need to be sent to the HSS office, either by contacting us online (office@heritageshorthorn.org), or via regular mail.  Any ad which has a fee requirement will need to be paid for (online or by mail) prior to the ad becoming active.   Checks can be mailed to:   Heritage Shorthorn Society,   6515 Kurtz Rd.,   Dallas, OR 97338

      "Shorthorn Cattle for Sale":   A 3 month ad without pictures is free for members.   Non-members are welcome to place an ad by becoming a member. A picture can be added to any classified ad for $10.00/photo.

      "Shorthorn Semen for Sale": A 6 month ad without pictures is free for members, or available at $30.00 for non-Members. Photos of the bulls for “Semen for Sale” can be included for an initial one time fee of $10.00/photo (no repeat fee for the photos for ad renewals).

"Wanted Shorthorn Cattle" ( 3 months) classified ads are free to post on the HSS website for both members and non-members.

Breeder & Ranch Promotional Ads

Members can post personalized, unique ranch/farm ads; either an ad that you send ready-made, or we can create an ad for you from information and photos which you send us.  

(Non-members are welcome to place an ad by becoming a member.) 

There are 2 Sizes of ranch/farm promotional display ads that can be posted.

1.    Standard Ad        Similar to a 1/2 page ad in a printed journal, with 1-2 photos + 1-2 informational/promotional paragraphs + farm name. logo, and contact information.  (See sample Standard Ad below.)

2.    Large Ad        Similar to a full page ad in a printed journal.  It could include multiple photos + multiple informational/promotional paragraphs + farm name (+ logo) and contact information, etc. (See sample Large Ad below.)

fees for posting a Promotional ad:

Standard Ad:     $45 for 3 months,     $75 for 6 months,    or    $98 for 1 year

Large Ad:           $80 for 3 months,     $105 for 6 months,  or    $170 for 1 year

Note:   These fees are for an ad that is sent to HSS "ready to go" as a completed PNG or JPG emailed image or as a completed ad on paper which is mailed to us and can be scanned into a digital image.   

*If a promotional ranch/farm ad is to be designed by HSS from individual pictures and wording there is a $55 creation & set-up fee for a new Standard Ad, or $75 for a new Large Ad.

If a 6 month or 1 year posting has been paid for, the ad can be swapped out for a new & different “ready to go” ad during that time period at no additional charge. (Simple alterations that need to be created by HSS can be made to an existing ad at anytime during a 6 mo. or 1 year time period for a $25 modification/update fee.)
