This year the World Shorthorn Conference is being held in Canada during July. Details can be found on the Canadian Shorthorn Association website.
HSS will be making a presentation at the World Shorthorn Conference. The talk is called “Heritage Shorthorns In A Modern World”. A recap of the World Shorthorn Conference will be available on the HSS website in August. We want to add that no funds from HSS will be used in going to the WSC. All funds (membership dues, contributions, and registrations) are only used for advertising of Heritage Shorthorns and for maintaining the website.
The Heritage Shorthorn Society has paid for a ½ page ad in the Summer Edition of the Canadian Shorthorn Report which will coincide with the World Shorthorn Conference.
A new ad will also be in the July edition of Small Farmer’s Journal.
The July Calf of the Month is out of a bull born in 1979 from the Pa Do Herd in Kansas.
